The Story Behind IndexNano
Hey, I’m Daus (27, M).
I’ve been trading full-time for almost three years now. Like most of you, I started out logging every single trade in a massive, ugly Excel spreadsheet.
Eventually, the market started to click for me. I was finally finding my edge. But maintaining that spreadsheet after a long, exhausting sesion was an absolute nightmare. I wanted an automated trading journal, so I started looking around at the big names in the industry.
My god. The prices were insane.
I’ll admit it: I am stingy with my capital. When you are fighting tooth and nail for every percentage point in the market, paying $40 to $50 a month just to see a pie chart of your win rate feels like a scam.
But I’m also a developer. I looked at these overpriced, clunky platforms and thought, “This really isn't that hard to build.”
So, I decided to build it myself. I pulled the integrations together, stripped out the useless bloat, and built a platform that actually does what retail traders need it to do.
That is how IndexNano was born.
Let's Talk About the Price (And the Profit)
Whenever people see that IndexNano is only $11 a month, the first question they ask is, "What's the catch? Are you selling my data?"
No. There is no catch, and your data is 100% private. I’m just going to be radically honest with you: our profit margin per user is only about $1 to $2 a month.
Once we cover the cost of the secure servers, the API connections, and the AI hosting, that is what is left over. And I am completely fine with that. We don't have corporate investors breathing down our necks demanding massive profit margins, which means we don't have to rip you off to survive.
And don't worry, because our overhead is so lean and the server costs are fully covered by the subscriptions, IndexNano is here to stay.
Built for the Trenches
The way this app is designed isn't an accident. I didn't just throw some code together.
The two-step journaling process, the Weekly AI Habit Tracker, the clean UI, it is all based on countless hours of research, talking to other retail traders, and my own painful experiences of blowing accounts because of revenge trading.
I know how hard it is to force yourself to journal when you just took a loss. I built IndexNano to make that process as smooth and frctionless as humanly possible.
I built the tool I wanted to use. I hope it helps you find your edge, too.
